Just another meeting or something bigger?
T-Mobile will hold a meeting on Sunday, but employees don’t know what it will be about.
While some employees claim that T-Mobile holds a company-wide meeting in January every year, others believe that this staff meeting carries higher stakes.
Others believe that it will be a routine start-of-the-year briefing to discuss performance metrics and the trajectory for the year, and to recognize the top performers.
No info has been given yet to us but I suspect it’ll be to align everyone on the Big 3. Most ME’s are still confused about marketable/non-marketable Visa opportunities and getting behaviors clearly communicated going into the 2nd month of Q1.

Since I’ve started, individual stores have mandatory meetings to discuss team goals and POAs to get there. But every January there’s been a company wide meeting, usually discussing what the trajectory for the company overall this year will be, what we can expect and what they expect of us.

T-Mobile has high expectations of employees
T-Mobile has been growing at an impressive rate, but sustaining that momentum is a challenge. That’s why the company seems to be turning to other avenues to drive efficiency and generate revenue, such as offering a credit card or routing transactions through the T-Life app.
Since customers aren’t always receptive to changes, the burden to get them on board falls on employees. That seems to be playing out with credit card promotions. Meanwhile, the company continues to let people go, making job security a concern.
This explains why employees are on edge, even if the meeting turns out to be routine.
T-Mobile is on a roll
While it remains to be seen what Sunday will bring, it is clear that T-Mobile is relentlessly pursuing its goal of industry dominance.
